DD8 MUSIC - Youth Group

Our Friday Youth Group meets at the Guide Hall and it’s a relaxed, drop-in space for young people to hang out at the end of the school week. There’s no set arrival time and no pressure to stay the whole afternoon.

We use two rooms. One is a chill-out space with art supplies, music, and somewhere to chat, eat, and wind down after school. The other room is set up with instruments if you fancy trying something new or just having a jam with others.

It’s free and open to all young people up to 25 years old.

“My favourite things about the face-to-face sessions are the social and jamming aspects; I enjoy the often random and comedic conversations in the company of every youth member and worker. Jamming is a way of expressing myself musically and I certainly enjoy being around everyone there.”
