ABOUT US
DD8 Music is a registered Scottish charity based in Kirriemuir, Angus, dedicated to making music and creativity accessible to everyone. For almost 20 years, we've been providing free opportunities for people of all ages to explore their creativity, develop new skills and connect with others through music, media and the arts.
Our creative hub is home to a fully equipped rehearsal and recording studio, alongside welcoming spaces where people can learn, collaborate and bring their ideas to life. Whether you're interested in playing an instrument, writing songs, producing music, DJing, photography, filmmaking or live events, we're here to support your creative journey.
Our youth programme is open to young people aged 11 to 25 and offers a safe, inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of experience. You don't need to be in a band or have any previous musical knowledge. Come along to meet new people, try something different, build confidence and discover new creative passions. If you're already an artist or part of a band, we'll help you develop your skills, record your music, perform live and take your next creative steps.
