FREE YOUTH MUSIC SESSIONS
We run free weekly sessions for young people. We are currently offering online and face to face sessions in line with current guidelines. There are sessions on Thursdays from 4.30-5.30pm, Fridays from 2-4pm and on Sundays from 2-4pm, and transition guitar sessions from 4.30-5.30pm on Wednesdays.
All sessions are for young people aged 12 to 25 years old. The sessions are about coming together and playing music. Don't worry if you're not in a band as individuals can work together jamming and writing songs. If you are in a band come along and get help and advice. The sessions are free and give a good introduction to what DD8 Music can offer. Don't be shy!
We do song writing, learning an instrument, playing music with others, music technology, ie recording and editing and using music software.
Please contact Steven at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to come along
28/3/17 The new DD8 film and photography group had some great fun experimenting with light painting this week. The group runs every Monday from 5-7pm and is free for any keen young photographers to attend. We have a full set of camera gear, but feel free to bring your own camera if you have one.
We are over the moon to announce that we have hit the target for the funding on our statue of Bon Scott! We will have the statue ready to unveil at Bonfest next year!
Thanks to all the fans, all over the world, that made this happen.
DD8 Music had an amazing time over the weekend at the 24 hour Relay for Life fund raiser for Cancer Research.
Here's a wee video that condenses the whole 24 hours down to under 2 minutes. The soundtrack is by the amazing Scottish Police & Community Choir who performed at the end of the event. Donations can still be made here
